Waspinator has an unfortunate case of bad luck. Whenever something goes wrong, it will usually happen to him. Nobody seems to respect him or care for him, though that’s mostly due to the fact that he allies himself with the wrong crowd, like Shockwave for example. He’s been hired to help bring a Necrotitan to him as part of his plan to destroy the universe. Perhaps a bit misunderstood, but he's still willing to do the dirty work of whoever‘s in charge.
