Diddy Kong in this series is Cirrina's fellow partner in commentary, known together as "Fish in a Barrel." He speaks with much more committed hip lingo than Cirrina, so I'm looking for natural, excitable performances to bring this showboat to life. A light to mid-range pitch of voice is what I'm after, though I'm willing to disregard that if your takes are good. Also, the original Smash King's version of the character has him make monkey sounds as a verbal tic, so I'm also looking for some convincing chimp noises in the third line.
(Exuberantly) What is up, everybody? Yer boy, Diddy Kong’s, back again, and it’s about time too, cuz this time, I’m in the mood! …For some clicks! C’mon, gimme some lovin’! We have ourselves a good match about to start, and I cannot wait to show y’all!
And just like that, Yoink has called Puff out on her empty jumps! Shing! Zap! Kerblang! I can literally see the air escaping her windpipe!
*monkey sounds* You don't scare us! We can take anything you can dish out by yourself!
