Paine is an absolute idiot. What he doesn't have in brains he makes up for in brawn. Paine is the fourth most powerful child in the Bunker, having a unique ability of enhanced strength that continues to grow the longer a fight against him lasts (which can be a while, he's incredibly stubborn). The stronger he is, the more difficult it is to injure him as well. Paine likes to think that he is smart like the rest of Lyn's gang, but they only keep him around for his rank and power, not for his wits.
