Aubrey Griffith is the older sister of Frank. She has been presumably missing for ten years prior to the events of the story. Frank learns through Anita that Aubrey is not only alive, but has been in contact with Anita for two years. However, unbeknownst to both Frank and (to an extent) Anita, Aubrey is not the woman they thought she was. Aubrey uses Anita against her knowledge to draw out Frank with the help of their mother, Ester, after the latter learns that Frank has been left all of the contents in her dying husband's will.

Aubrey is incredibly sadistic, deriving pleasure from causing pain and humiliation, and this should come through her lines. However, it is important not to make her sound too unhinged: there needs to be a sense of control in her voice, as Aubrey knows full well who she is and what she is doing, and she doesn't care who it hurts.

Some additional notes about Aubrey:

- She is in her mid to late 20's.

- Despite her position, she stills speaks to Frank with a sense of care and love.

- She is very submissive when it comes to their mother, Ester.

  • (To Frank) I must say, the fact that you were able to find me really is amazing! (To Anita) But... you had some help, didn't you?

  • (To Frank after he asks why she has been gone for so long) Oh no! No no no no! That information is on a need to know basis, and you, little brother, are not even close to needing to know!

  • (To Frank after revealing her true identity) Oops, is this not what you expected? Isn't that funny! I didn't expect that Anita would be what it took to get you to crack!
