Frank Griffith is the primary lead of "Left Behind". Having not seen his sister for over ten years, Frank has assumed her dead, until he sees a woman he believes is his sister in photos in the possession of his closest friend, Anita Boden.

Frank is a very serious character, as his primary goal is finding his sister at any costs. However, he should not sound too monotone or too "manly". The key to Frank is being able to channel both his frustration and care for both Aubrey and Anita in his lines.

Some additional notes about Frank:

- He is in his early to mid 20's. Keep this in mind.

- His voice should have a lower pitch, though if you capture the character well and do not fit perfectly into the vocal pitch, you can still be cast.

- He can stutter over his words when he is particularly frustrated. However, do not go overboard with this. It is better to not force stuttering at all if you can not do it effectively than it is to try it and not have it work.

  • (To Anita) Are you telling me that you've known where my sister was for two years? Two years, Anita? And you never told me?

  • (To himself) Part of me thinks this is some sort of trick, but... if Aubrey really is out there, I just have to know for sure. No matter what her reason for being gone so long is, I just need to know she's out there and is fine.

Sorry for getting to this audition late! So, you've got a great voice, but your audio is just a bit too bassy. Now, that can be rectified to a degree in editing, but I'd take a look at your settings/recording space and see if it can be fixed in that stage. As for the performance, it's good, but I think you just need to bring up the emotion just a bit, especially with the first line. Don't overdo it, though, just bring it up slightly if cast!

Oh no worries, I'm just happy to receive feedback. I've been tinkering with my audio set-up as of late trying to find the optimal recording settings for my space so learning I'm bass forward is a real help on my end. I'll look into my set-up over the course of this next week and see what can be done. Thank you for your time!

No problem! I am always glad to provide feedback, as we are all essentially working toward the same goals here! Again, being a bit bass heavy isn't the worst issue, as editing can fix it and your problem is not so bad that it would be impossible to fix, but if you can improve it in the recording stage somehow, that is even better.
