Anita is the best friend of Frank, and the one who reveals the existence of Aubrey to him. Anita is a shy, mostly reserved person, and is neither a fan of conflict nor deceit. However, when Aubrey comes to her and coerces her into leading Frank into her grasp, she does so out of the hope that she and Frank will be left alone after the encounter.

Anita cares deeply for Frank, and as such, wants no harm to come to him.

Some notes about Anita:

- She is in her early 20's.

- She does not know Aubrey and Ester's actual plan, only that Aubrey wanted her to bring Frank to Ester.

  • (To Frank) I'm sorry, I know I should've told you about Aubrey, but I wasn't sure if it was really her at first. I had to be sure.

  • (To Ester after Ester hurts Frank) Stop! You said you wouldn't hurt him! You said you just wanted to talk to him!

  • (To Frank) Hey, are you sure you want to do this? I just... I get the strange feeling that Aubrey wants something that you can't give her.

Sorry I am getting to this audition late! So, this audition has some highs and lows. One high is the overall quality of the audio, which is good overall. But on the other side of that same coin, there are some issues with air forcefully hitting the mic, which implies you do not have a pop filter, or the one you do have is improperly placed. That would need to be fixed if you are cast. As far as the performance, I think it is good, but the dramatization of the lines fluctuates quite a bit in that some parts sound too dramatic, and some too dead. I think finding that perfect balance (for example, the very beginning up until "I should've told you about Aubrey" sounds pretty good) would bring out the best in your performance, if cast.

Thank you so much for the feedback. And I noticed what you mean by the air forcefully hitting the mic. I have a blue snowball but your feedback was very valuable to me and I am now thinking about purchasing a pop filter. There is ways to go around the air sound like standing a little farther from the mic. However, I do think getting a pop filter would improve performance. I really appreciate your feedback on finding balance. I often wonder how this scene is getting played so I could tend to overdramatize the situation. I will work on finding balance

You are very welcome! Another good way to avoid hitting the mic with too much air would be to speak slightly off-axis to the mic. But yes, the best solution it to get a pop filter. I would also recommend getting a better mic but I understand that that may not be a possibility right now. Feel free to resubmit if you'd like! There is still time.
