Ray is a well-known optimist, who often tends to radiate his positivity onto others as a result. Despite being one of the original subjects of Dr. Eggman’s experiments, he never seems to ever get truly upset or give up on anything. It’s unknown how he came to join the Chaotix, but he has been good friends with Mighty the Armadillo for a long time.

While not as intelligent as Tails, for only being 13, Ray proved himself to be an above average mechanic. However, he shows clear signs of ADHD, often being scatterbrained and hyper focusing on one thing before he runs out of steam.

While not a fighter at all, he is a great tactician who can easily escape any situation (Like how he helped Sonic and Mighty escape with him from Eggman when they first met).
