(CLOSED) Deathsong Brotherhood - A project Revival (FALLOUT NEW VEGAS)
Matt Beckius for Brooks (Shunned Entrance Guard)
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
Brooks is the main entrance guard for the Deathsong Brotherhood. He used to be a freelance bodyguard in Freeside (One of the locations in Fallout: New Vegas), and ended up being recruited after surviving an attack from thugs. He was framed for stealing from his organization's armory and is now assigned to guard duty as punishment. Because of this, he is beyond bored and frustrated. He knows that he didn't do it, but doesn't have any evidence to support his case.
AGE:
25-30 Years old.
ACCENT: NORTH AMERICAN. No execptions.
TONE:
Baritone. He should sound like a guy who's lived a rough life, and knows the streets well. He shouldn't sound gruff and rugged, but like a younger guy who had a rough childhood and teenage experience.
[You see the new recruit coming the entrance] [You decide to play a little joke on them]
You better hope you know the password, or you're gonna get one between the eyes.
[Recruit falls for joke] [You find the shocked expression on their face hilarious]
(Laughs) Chill out, I'm just fucking with you. Mal told me you were coming through.[You're asked why you hate your current position]
Because somebody got in the armory, stole a bunch of shit, and now everybody thinks I fucking did it. So Mal put me on permanent guard duty.
[You're asked who did it]
Believe me, If I knew who did it, they'd be fucking dead already, and I'd give Mal their fucking head.[Recruit says they gotta go] [You're now back to the endless, soul-sucking cycle that is guard duty]
All right, I'll be here... probably for the rest of my fucking life.
[You're a bit miffed] [You're thinking about all the fun jobs you could be doing right now]
Goddammit, guard duty is boring as hell. This is bullshit.
[You're hoping for the day you can get back to doing the job you love] [You're pissed that you're stuck here indefinitely]
I can't wait for another contract. If I have to do this guard duty shit much longer, I'm gonna fucking shoot myself.
