Really liking this :D Would you mind if I gave you a bit more direction for a retry? You've nailed Taki-san's strict words, but the funny thing about him is he usually delivers his criticisms with a smile on his face. He comes across as harsh because he's very blunt and focused on getting his students to improve, but his tone of voice should be calmer, and less confrontational.

Taki-sensei is the new music teacher at the high school. He is polite and well-mannered, but the students soon find out that he is extremely strict and methodical as a teacher. Though his methods produce results, he can often come across as being harsh. All things considered, though, he cares about his students and wants them to succeed.
