Rosa is Kiran's little sister who is extremely fragile because of her several medical problems. She is soft spoken, but is very determined to not be a burden to the rest of the group. She get upset when Kiran doesn't allow her to accompany them on their missions. Rosa looks up to Deryn because she sees her as the epitome of strength and confidence.
"Kiran, stop yelling, you're waking everyone up." (It's 2 in the morning and Kiran has just discovered that Jude never came home so her voice should sound drowsy.)
"You shouldn't have stayed out so late, Kiran was worried about you." (Quietly scolding Jude for not coming back on time.)
"I miss mom and dad, do you think they'll be alright?" (She frequently goes to Kiran for reassurance when she thinks of their parents - who had been taken by the Apparitors several months prior.)
