A minor non-singing role. He's basically the only human source of tension in this story. He speaks slowly and professionally, but menacing at times. He's menacing underneath, but has a facade of professionalism on top of it. I'm thinking sort of Anton Ego from Ratatouille for the menacing parts.
1. Ah, Jared. I see you got my message. Please, have a seat.
2. I've called you to my office to discuss your absence during shifts.
3. "Jared, as an employee, you have a responsibility to fulfill your duties at work. If you aren't attending to your work, what kind of employee would you be then? (Pause, then menacingly:) I'd say you wouldn't be an employee at all."
4. "If you show that you care about your job, I'll be happy to keep working with you. But one more missing shift, (menacingly:) and you're fired. (Pause) Understand?"
