Karl is just a big dumb sweetheart. He's got more brawn than brains but it's not much, he's still fairly smart. He sees potential in Nora's "talent" as a “Kazoo Artist” (Violinist, it’s just a big mix up) and thus grows incredibly close to her, despite her being a brat. He's always courteous to others but absolutely despises it when people can't plan things correctly. It comes from working in the tour business. He gets frustrated with Phoenix from time to time, but only wants to help her keep her mind on track.

His voice has the inflections of Kaito Momota. It’s masculine and deep in pitch, very loud and bold, and has a German accent that comes out when he’s irritated.
