Well, the Brotherhood's been around for about 25 years now. Before that, Malachai (MAL·A·KAI - KAI as in KITE) used to work by himself, doing small contracts and such.

Bruiser and I had been working together for a few years when we met him. We'd been contracted to take out a VIP who was winning too much in the casinos.

Malachai had been contracted by the Bishop Family to take out the same guy, so needless to say when we first met, we were anything but friendly.

(Laughs a bit) (Looks back at it as pretty funny) We were arguing with him about who was gonna kill this guy, and things would've gotten real ugly...

But Malachai just looked at us and said it doesn't matter who kills him, as long as he's dead. He shot the guy in the face and walked off.

Malachai found this place, set it all up, and we've been operating here ever since.

(Chuckles) Are you kidding me? The Omertas ( ȯ-ˈmer-tä ) are our main clients. We've got a nice thing going with the Omertas (O -Mare-tas).

They assign us to do their "clean up" jobs that would require going outside of the Strip. In return, we get to keep this area to ourselves.
