Trist is arrogant, rude, and pretentious. He is what would be most closely considered by human religion as an angel, and knows it. He doesn't hesitate to carry himself in a formal, godly manner and tends to look down upon Torren especially who does not have pure energy like himself. This leads to a long lasting rivalry between the two, that eventually dissipates when Trist begins to look deeper into the muddying waters of what it means to be good and evil.
