Charlie’s father and one of the most popular and unifying figures in the village. He is a humble grocer, and the only vendor in the village market to sell products and service customers from both neighborhoods due to his strong internal beliefs in loving oneself and loving his neighbors regardless of the good and the bad. This makes him popular with many village children who visit his shop often before and after school. His kindness and sincerity have made him a cornerstone of village life, and one of the main targets of the corporation due to his ability to challenge their economic dominance and undercut their divisive social agenda. Gregory is very close to his son and tries to teach him everything he knows so that he is prepared to face the realities of village life and make the right decisions regardless of social pressure. This character will perform a few songs for the film's soundtrack! (For audition purposes, this character was inspired by Fred Rogers from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood)
People believe what they must in order to feel safe in a world that is constantly changing. We must be sensitive to their fears if we are ever to cross the divide.

There is so such thing as a good or bad person Charlie, people are taught how to do bad things. And if they can be taught to hate, they can also be taught to love. Love your neighbor Charlie, even when they don't deserve it. You just never know who's life you'll change by doing so.
