1) Within the first episode Nor'Jek will not be speaking English whatsoever. He has many lines within the primosian language. Be prepared if you're willing to audition.

2) Please refrain from adding voice effects that completely alter your natural voice. They ruin the immersion of the character.

Nor'Jek Damos, later known as Vernum, is a magnus centurion of the primus empire. Magnus centurions are among the lowest rank of the Centuri class, but this was not always the case with Nor. Over twenty years before the main story, Nor'Jek was about to ascend to Imperial Centurion, the highest and most prestigious rank a soldier can attain. However, after a severe head injury left him hospitalized for half a year, things changed. Grand Empress Sin'Yeh had already made her decision; omitting thousands of years of traditions in order to bestow Echo-One (a main character) with the title of Tempus, the Imperial Centurion of the Vanguard.

This left a horribly sour taste in Nor'Jek's mouth, and after a brief confrontation with Tempus that left Nor'Jek in the dirt he swore revenge. Nor was demoted from Sovereign Centurion (the second highest ranking) to magnus, stripped of his title of Caedis, and put under command of Tempus's second Vernum. After the initial battle on the primus capital however, Vernum was killed-in-action. Without a proper second to the Vanguard readily available, the primus High Council decided to temporarily bring Nor'Jek back into the ranks and bestowed upon him the rank of Sovereign and the title of Vernum. This sparks a horrible controversy later on.

Nor'Jek is described as the "anti-hero" of the series. Not necessarily a villian but not someone the other protagonists want to be around. He's arrogant, selfish, and horribly prideful with his new found power going straight to his head.

  • (enraged) I was meant to become Tempus! You have no right to my name!

  • (stern/angry) He was a coward and a traitor. His death was justice.

  • (frustrated) Na! Non regredi tirtira! Non oportet komme forsiden!

[No! We can't retreat! We need to get back to the front!]
