Daffy Dumas Duck (also known by Sheldon, Idiot Eyes, or Armando) is an animated cartoon character produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Daffy was one of the first of the new "screwball" characters that emerged in the late 1930s to replace traditional "everyman" characters who were more popular earlier in the decade, such as Mickey Mouse and Popeye. His personality consists of being wacky, arrogant, boastful, greedy and having both a sense of superiority and insecurity. He tends to get on a lot of people's nerves with his overbearing demeanor, but given the chance, perhaps all he needs is a good friend. Daffy's voice is defined by his trademark lisp.
