Fallen:backstory (audio drama)
sir_noir for Laurence O'Brian
The father of Zeke and Logan (see: Forsaken). Laurence is a 47 year old lawyer that originally came from England. His wife (deceased) was from America. Laurence now lives on the more peaceful side of California; still working today.
Laurence is usually a calm and sofisticated man; rarely blowing his fuse.
He's a very understanding and loyal man; yet he's no fool. If he sees something wrong he will speak up about it.
Laurence is a minor character in Fallen but is very important in Zeke's background and ongoing story.
(Voice description: His voice is rather deep and calm; think of Atticus from to Kill A Mockingbird with a English accent. His anger isn't exactly firey; it's stern and dry.)
(Defensive; dry anger) I would lose the smug look if I was you, mr.Seymour; least you forget I know every trick a criminal will pull in this courtroom...don't push your luck. (Turns to Zeke; speaks a bit more calmly) Come along, Zeke: I cannot walk as well as I use to.
(Happy and light hearted) Ah, why hello there! What brings the unexpected pleasure to visit old me?
(Concerned; weak smiling) Ah, Zeke...You honestly did not have to. (He says "You'd be alone and he was following me..." As he brought him a dog home for company) I understand your concerns dear (hugs him) but I would not fret about old me...I'm more worried about you. Are you sure you're up for this? War is the most dangerous sanrio to be in...
Good evening sir Noir! Let me start off by thanking you for your audition!~ Now, allow me to comment only on one of these (of which I believe is your strongest) to save you the notification spam. That being said, let's do this! First of all, I think your Brendan sounded a little Scottish to me! I don't think you said eejit right either pfft. but that's okay, I'll excuse that seeing how it's auditions and all. The tone in it was very nice I have to say. Your yell of FECK SAKE ZEKE! made me smile. Now, your Zeke I'm iffy with but I cannot see anything wrong with the way you went about it. The ruff voice, the tones and so forth were there. Yet no semi-yell. Unlike him but I'll let it slide for now as it's a good audition. And lastly! Mr.O'Brian! OOooooohhh someone better warn Loganxh cause we got a contender over here! Now the only thing I will say about your Laurence is that you spoke a little TOO Fast for my liking? I mean it's a strong audition don't get me wrong my dear but I unno about that speed dear. I wish you good luck Let the clash of the Laurence voices begin~
Thank for the healthy critique. I very much appreciate it. I can easily adjust and change the speed of Laurence's cadence. I have a lot of vocal choices I can do to change the others. Do you want re-submissions?
I do allow it but sending to me via skype, email, vacaroo link or reaudition is totally up to my actors themselves. I'm not picky in the least. Have fun, Loganxh can't wait for the competition
