Brakal is unique. At one point, it's believed that he had been taken care of after a Ranger sacrificed herself. However, he survived somehow, and is left to continue his original goals as requested by Dragun. His powers revolve around generating high heat through his armor and using it as attacks. His goal was to boil the oceans till they were completely dried up, causing a global drought that couldn't be fixed in time.

Think of an older guy who is too cocky for his own good, believing himself to be the one to test other people's big talk, and you have Brakal in a nutshell, no pun intended.
