Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V Fandub: Pendulum Summoning is Born!
OhGeeNivi for Yuzu Hiragi
Character Description: A young girl, who also strives to do her best to achieve her goal of becoming a professional Entertainment Duelist. She is Yuya’s best friend and has stuck by his side through thick and thin, even when all the kids at school were bullying him, because of his dad’s disappearance, she defended him and helped him through his rough childhood. Her character is kind, caring, determined, and tough, when it comes down to it. While she appears annoyed at Yuya’s antics, she really cares for him deep down and sees him as an inspiration/rival to get better at dueling.
Voice Description: Yuzu is a fourteen-year-old girl, who has a normalish/highish pitch to her voice. This voice will show that she’s still innocent, but also a person that shouldn’t be messed with.
After Yuya messes around during the dueling session, Yuzu gets upset at his antics.
"Come on, Yuya! Take this seriously! You're not going to make it out there with the professionals, if you keep this act up! What would your dad say?!
During her duel in the Synchro Dimension, Yuzu talks about her reasoning to Chojiro for dueling the way she did. Despite the current situation with the Dimensional War, she duels in the same way Yuya would, which revolves around entertaining the crowd.
"There's something I want to tell someone... My feelings... That person is probably depressed and blaming themselves right now. By doing my best, I can remind them that they're not alone. *Changes her tone to energetic and addresses the audience.* We're just getting started! The fun has just begun, everyone!"
After Yuya goes berserk, Yuzu attempts to calm him down and bring him back to his senses.
"You’ve left your home to save me! No matter how many times we got separated from each other, you kept chasing after me! Because of that, I was able to smile! Please respond to them, Yuya! Respond to your friends’ feelings! And then, we’ll go back home together!
I think your voice is a nice fit for Yuzu! A few critiques that might help you out in future auditions though. I would suggest finding a compact room, such as a walk-in-closet, which has a bunch of clothes that will help nullify the background echo of your auditions. I didn't hear any echoes, but just in case for future reference. Second thing, I believe you need a pop filter, if you don't have one. The pops in your "P's" and "S's" kind of stood out. If you have a pop filter, then I would suggest backing away a bit from the microphone (Hold up your hand with the finger cellphone gesture. That distance should be between you and the mic.), because there was a lot of peaking in your audition. Your audition was nice though, and if you want, I wouldn't mind a re-audition (I'm probably going to extend the deadline). That's all on you though. If not, then I wish you the best of luck on future auditions! I feel you have enough passion, and with hard work, you'll go far!
Awesome! Thank you so much for the feedback and tips! They mean a lot since I am just starting out. I'll order a pop filter right now and re-audition. Thanks!
