Hello, I go by Sparkler or Sp4rkl3r online, though I'll also respond to Kei. I love manga, anime, idols, singing, and other fandomy stuff. Some of my hobbies are creating outfits and props for dolls, making cosplay, binge-watching TV shows, and reading.
I'm a native English speaker, and I can speak Japanese at about a kindergartner's reading level, with a pretty good accent. I'm very confident in singing in Japanese or in English, though I prefer to sing in Japanese.
One of my favorite books is Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones, which is the book that inspired the Studio Ghibli movie. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli is a book that has been impactful in my life - it's definitely worth the read. Some other books that I love are Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine, Goose Girl by Shannon Hale, and Persuasion by Jane Austen.
My all-time favorite anime would have to be Love Live! (both School Idol Project and Sunshine). Some of my favorite manga are Skip Beat, Yona of the Dawn, Cat Street, and Beauty Pop, though I've read countless others as well.
