heyyy, i'm SKATES (they/them)! i'm just a person that decided to make voice acting one of my hobbies. as a high school student (a senior as of 2024), i’m often busy, but i always make sure my lines are turned in and done with (sparkles) character!

my interest in the field has lasted since elementary and i’m very glad to have picked it up seriously in may 2019! after finally getting a decent microphone for VA, i’d like to further my experience through roles here.

i'm most comfortable with high to medium range voices. referring to emotional range, i’d say my strengths are in peppy characters and i struggle a bit with tough and angry ones.

i usually look into comic dubs/fandubs for media i’m interested in (usually games with no official english voice actors, or at least ones that don’t please the fanbase [lookin at you bang dream] because i can’t do impressions at all haha) and works from independent animators! i just like to audition for roles that i believe i can enjoy, really. my favorite part about voice acting is the opportunity to get to know other voice actors and possibly learn from them and our directors, so i felt joining ccc would help me do exactly that!
note: i will never be comfortable doing nsfw (dirty jokes are fine but i am not gonna do a thing with full-on “action” in it), saying slurs, and works with bigoted views trying to pass off as “dark jokes”
