Roland has had the privilege of working in the L.A. radio market for a decade as an audio engineer/producer, co-host and announcer, along with having an acting and singing background in musicals and plays for more than twenty years.

He is involved in public speaking, acting, and hosting events throughout Pasadena for the Martin Luther King Coalition, Altadena Baptist Church's annual Black History Celebration, as well as the L.A. County Commission for Women's annual 5K event being their retained Master of Ceremonies.

Roland has been lending his voice to radio commercials nationwide from his professional home studio, as well as singing the National Anthem for the American Hockey League, or AHL, at Toyota Arena for the Ontario Reign.

He is also working with Amazon via ACX.com as an audiobook narrator and producer, providing his voice to their extensive roster of voice actors. Roland's voice has been regularly used in eLearning videos and museum presentations, such as the Los Angeles Maritime Museum's documentary about the history of Terminal Island.

Roland is working on producing and narrating short films and documentaries, such as the history of Juneteenth, which was posted on YouTube and recently recognized by Black News Channel, earning him an interview on their broadcast and receiving over 80,000 views in a matter of days.
