Voice Actors Do Other Stuff Too
@rob-vieiraNo hassle professional actor for voiceover and screen.
After a lengthy career in technology and business leadership, Rob found his way formally into acting. Rob had always enjoyed embracing characters from around the would or simply from imagination. From his earliest impersonations of popular cartoons such as Snagglepuss, Muttley and Mickey Mouse, he new voices could create laughs, and that laughs were worth creating. A time working in the tourism industry helped him branch into creating characters from around the world - something he still enjoys today. After a bit of burnout from a long career in technology and leadership, he first went into public speaking on leadership and communication, but time reexposed his passion for character work and he now gravitates towards character acting and voiceover work as well as audiobook narration.
College level course in acting fundamentals. Not my first acting related class, but the first one with a college structure oriented specifically to theatre.
Second in Laney's line of theatre related acting classes. This course is oriented around scenework with a focus on interaction of characters.
A far more intense and on stage focused class oriented around actual live performance.
While Rob is non-union, he does honor the importance of maintaining a living wage for actors of all variety. He does generally adhere to union level compensation. He can be contacted for a quote, but for voice acting work, it is reasonable to assume he will match rates with those found on the GVAA rate guide that tends to be the US standard for non-union work. He generally uses the Gravy For the Brain rate guide for non-US work.
While my premdominant focus is in voice acting for audiobooks and character work, I also pursue screen roles - generally for smaller parts that fit my demographic. Although not something I usually actively pursue, I remain open to live theatre work.
