Voice ActingThis is the area I'm seeking to expand upon the most. My first year as an adult I spent time working on the range of my voice and making it my instrument. I have some experience in this field.
SingingI can hold a note rather well and have always been told by folks around me I could sing if I wanted to. I have no formal training but I sing with passion and make an effort to take it seriously. I have years of casual, recreational singing experience.
AnimatingI have spent over five years teaching myself the in's and out's of animation using Blender and no small amount of Youtube videos. Given enough time and devotion, I can make fascinating things, though I usually tend to make jokes with my skills instead. See https://www.youtube.com/@RepJunkieJr if you're interested.
Video EditingI spent several years in middle and high school learning how to use video editing softwares such as Adobe Premiere, but on my own personal computer I utilize Capcut primarily.
Music ComposerThis one I am still figuring out, but I have started to dabble in musical theory and with the help of a good friend of mine and fellow hobbyist, I have begun to experiment with musical composition. My main sources of Inspiration are John Williams and Jeremy Soule, but I also know how to make more modern and technological (synth) music. My software of choice is Musescore.
Audio EngineeringBefore I fully grew up, Foley work was a hobby of mine. I was fascinated by the idea of taking something unthought of and using it to create a soundscape for the audience. I was most impressed by the way Lightsabers were made with a shotgun mic, or the bodily functions of the monsters from a Quiet Place being crunched lettuce. Creativity like that is the mark of a good story-telling team.
WritingI've always had a passion for story-telling. It is, at my very core, a part of my being. When you introduce a character and the world in which he lives, you are creating a universe in which your audience can escape reality, connect with, and bond over. There is no greater magic than this which is why I take it seriously.
ActingI've been in theater most of my life, though vaguely on and off as locations change. Tying in with my remarks in the Writing tab, I am passionate about story-telling, and will put my heart and soul into a character. I'm not the best, but once I have formal training and proper introductions, I would be eager to make my way into the bigger world of acting.
