About rashrom

Rebecca Shrom and is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina with BA’s in Theatre and Media Arts, and is currently residing in Chicago, IL. At USC she had acting positions in 9 full-length productions, in addition to multiple staged readings, and a fair amount of 10-minute plays and student films. She was also the president of OverReactors improv for 2 years, and practiced both long and short form Improv. She continued my improv study after graduation in Charleston, SC at Theater 99 before moving to Chicago. In addition to USC, she also attended the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford program where I studied Shakespeare and classical theater. Since leaving school she has worked at a few regional theaters across the south. She has, most recently, been working and taking classes with IO Chicago, CIC Theatre, and Second City, and have performed at the Annoyance, IO Chicago, Second City, The Playground, Under the Gun, The Bughouse, and the Crowd. She recently finished IO’s training program and the Second City Conservatory, has studied at the Green Room Studio, and is currently enrolled in The Annoyance Theater’s Improv training program.

Her past regional acting credits include History of the Internet at the Conservatory, Fancy Bones and Franken-arm at CIC Theater, Talk Radio (Linda/Cathleen/Denise/Rose/Agnes), and Appropriate (Cassidy) at Trustus Theater

She is a house performer at iO Chicago on the IO Comedy Network Team Overqualified. She also performs with her improv team: Uncle Bobo, her clowning duo “Noodle and Basil”, and the benchmark show “Skinprov” every Saturday at the Annoyance Theatre & Bar.

She lent her voice to a few other podcasts with such as Dead Sirius, Roll for Murder, Please Make This, an upcoming podcast entitled The Gaia Miracles, and so much more!
