Diego Martinez

Diego Martinez, AKA P-Wave, hails from Chula Vista, California, and masterfully blends Chillsynth, Lo-fi, Ambience, Smooth Jazz, and more to evoke the nostalgic essence of the 2000s. His music seamlessly incorporates acoustic instruments, gritty synths, hazy vocals, and elements of 80s-2000s pop culture, creating tunes that encapsulate moments of bliss and melancholy that many long to relive. As a UCSD Music Graduate, P-Wave draws from personal experiences and collaborations with other like-minded artists to showcase growth in his musical journey. This has resulted in the scoring of short animations, "LØST" and "FROGWARS: Divided Kingdom," which won honorable mention in Chilemonos’ 2026 Animation Festival, and the 45-track anthology, The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege, which is available as a playable game mod. As he works on his music career, he is now exploring the avenue of VO work to broaden his repertoire of skills.
