Project Overview

Zoophobia is a comic created by Vivinne Medrano, which is still being updated to this day.


You don't have to have read the comic to audition, but it is suggested, because there's a lot of things to understand with everything here in the comic.

This isn't meant to be a big project, just a small one for fun, as well as for me to use as a learning experience.
I really hope everyone else has as much fun with this as I do!

To keep in easier contact, it would be fantastic if you had an email you check frequently, or something along those lines, but it is not required!

Cameron is a human, with a transfer job to Zoo Phoenix Academy, unaware of what she has gotten herself into, for she has a severe case of Zoophobia.



Cameron is incredibly jumpy, but a very kind and caring person. For most of the time we see her, she's being scared by others randomly appearing near her. However, she is later assertive as she needs to be.

Zecheriah is one of many teachers at ZPA, and likely part of why Cameron is so terrified.


Zecheriah is a bit... stone-faced, and doesn't often show emotion. He's very cool and collected, not often phased by things. Its very hard to tell what he is thinking at times.

  • Is there something wrong, Miss?

  • Well my dear Miss Cameron, I have some news for you. My name is Zecheriah, and I regret to inform you that there seems to have been some sort of mistake with the company that employed you. You were hired to be a guidance counselor, correct?

Jackie is a high-energy teacher at ZPA.


Jackie is a very warm, overly energetic person. Likely one of those teachers everyone loves because she's more of a friend than a teacher. 
She tends to speak in a very sing-songy manner sometimes

Alanzo, much like his wife, is very high energy for a teacher.


Al is very very upbeat, and very patient with everyone. He's very carefree, and definitely a kind of guy everyone likes.
Al having any sort of accent besides American or English would be highly preferred!

Oh boy. Damien here, is the son of the devil.

He's very mischievous, and hot headed. He doesn't really understand people, or have a lot of friends, but he's clearly trying... most of  the time

Jack is a real sincere kiddo.


Jack is faced with a lot of problems, which has caused him to grow closed off and kind of shy. He doesn't have many friends, but he's alright with that. The one's he does have are good to him!

I'm typically looking for other teachers (Carrie + others we haven't met), as well as students (Mkenzi, Addi, etc.)
All lines from this have been pulled randomly out of Chapter 1, by characters who weren't with their own call. As for now, these are typically very minor things, such as hissing, or Kayla's "eep"
