Zombie Script – Gritty Zombie Audio Drama
This is a casting call for all ages and genders or anyone who has vocal cords or can make noise. If you are under the age of 16 please consult your parents before applying, for there will be talks of.
Location for recording: Remote, or whatever is best available for you to be use
Hello everyone, my name is Xavier Hicks, and thank you for clicking on this project. I love podcasts and audio dramas and now I want to have the honor to make my own. This project will be a podcast based on zombies, reason why is because I love The Walking Dead and We’re Alive, a zombie story podcast by Wayland productions.
There’s not more more to say because I like to say if you think and ponder to long you won’t get it done.
If there is confusion there are a few things I want to state and make clear.
(This is a project and I will try my best to stay up to date and work fast but I can only work as fast as y’all help me.
I have character roles created but I wanted to give you guys the chance to give some of the support or side characters names. )
I will repeat this everytime i have to, but i am completing the script still and will be recording at the same time i dont want to waste time doing nothing
We need an extensive cast and crew as I am starting this project on my own regard and time.
Commitment: 1-2 hours per episode, flexible, but we’re recording NOW and adding roles continuously.
If you have questions ask me here or on discord / if a discord is not already made for it I am currently building it and i will try my best to get back to you fast
This is a completely volunteer project so i understand if you cant commit but i want this project to go on forever .
if you would like a side character instead of a main or multiple roles please let me know in your submission

Update one( i shall be contacting a few people soon on there roles and i'm ready to get to work with you guys. i have almost finished the first two episodes and have a few more things to fix but thank you everyone for being patient
Update-2 (09/12/25)I’m closing down on the end idea of the first 5 chapters and will be adding more characters to the list and more roles with some more dialogue, there will be a lot more try outs because I will be expanded the page to Reddit / Facebook / Twitter / and Instagram / so thank you everyone for being patient and I hope by time I message you you will be free and available to work still .

10/6/25 Hello everyone sorry for the delay as I had a funeral to attend. My grandma made it to the age of 99 and lived a wonderful life and with that I will be emailing texting and reviewing a lot of responses in the coming days thank you everyone for such patience

Thank you everyone for being patient i have had a long 3 months but i will be reaching out to everyone on the story line and start getting intakes from all of you.
If you dont get the Role you want always ask questions if you wanna know why not but i will Def have another role for you.
today is Jan/15/2026 and i will be back in a week with an update i will be adding character roles and story lines and reaching out to as many people as i can in the next few days

Sally is a your 24 year old women Who knows when she needs to step up. working as a vet since a kid loving animals, She has developed a love for nature and animals in a world where everything is grey.Sally grew up on the nice side of douglasville and always had passion but will the end of the world change here

Your average 23 year old comes with all the ups and downs of being a single man in the apocalypse.
When it comes to getting down and dirty this young man was a player in the streets at night,But by day a The son of a powerful family in Georgia. Before the start of it all Drew is friends with Xavier and Caitlin and has a roommate named Sally.
Drew is nonchalant, a go geter and a bachelor.

Military officer
A simple role where you play a officer in the military conducting the zombie apocalypse
(Yelling or agitated ): EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP THIS IS THE MILITARY AND WE ARE CREATING A QUARANTINE ZONE. I REPEAT GRAB YOUR BELONGS AND PREPARE TO MOVE OUT.
Scared or confused ): Shit did you see that over there too. By the trash can something just moved.
(yelling or scared ) Im out of ammo. Fuck.. FUCKKK.. retreat to the second entrance.
Military
Same as the other
try your best to act as a police officer in the start of the apocalypse
this is a full free lance one so i will not assist in this one

News Reporter
The role is the report on the beginning of the outbreak simple yet charming
(news report): Good evening Ladies and Gentleman on Tonight's Atlanta news, Reports are coming in of an extremely deadly 60 car pile up on the interstate
scared and reporting): I promise ill do my best to report while im here at the studios, but if your still watching. stay inside and stay in quarantine

The role of police officer
Another role that might be reacurring, this role is to help citizens and others survive the outbreak.
(talking to police radar): Umm i got reports that the hospitals are Filling up is there any where else we can go
Armed and dangerous): Hey. STOP right there. I said stop . *gun shots *
( freelance)
(TIred): Hey think i can get a lift into town
(angry) Well fuck you to then i just wanted a ride
(murmuring): Damn Kids Cant even Spare more then a few dollars
This role here is for supporting zombie roles.
We need an extensive sort of random zombie noises and random sounds so if that is you go ahead and apply here.

This role is for background scream and noises and maybe random voices in quarantine.
These voices may be coming back so keep an open schedule and mind.
i put some lines in but you can definitely change them up or add some spice
