Yuujin
Project Overview
Yuujin is a BL visual novel for Sealed With A Kiss Jam 2025. It features a shrine maiden (MC) who must help two Japanese deities realize their affection for one another.
You MUST be 18 years old or older.
All lines will be self directed. You will not be expected to attend any live recording sessions.
We expect you to have good quality audio with no background noise.
Files must be delivered in .wav (but you may send in your auditions in other formats).
All audition takes in one file, please. Please don’t send us separate files for each line. Please separate each character audition into a different file, though.
The game jam takes place during the month of January. If you are to audition, please make sure you are free to record during the second half of January.
The visual novel will not be fully voiced. Only certain sections (prologue and good/bad endings) will be voiced.
The project is completely volunteer.

Suijin is the God of Water in Japan. He is loved by all due to his down-to-earth personality. That is to say, he is kind and humble, making him approachable. Suijin can occasionally be stern, especially when it relates to Hachiman and the safety of the people. While he is not a part of the Main Japanese Kamis, he is still highly regarded.

Hachiman is the God of War in Japan. In the village that he resides in with Tenjin, he is well respected due to his connection to the Main Japanese Kamis. Hachiman is generally reserved and distant, however, he does have a caring side. Especially when it comes to Suijin.

The protagonist is a shrine maiden who has a connection to the deities of Japan. Their main job is to watch over the shrine, host its festivals, and pray for the gods that they follow. They are shy, caring, and observant. The game is told from their point of view.
