Project Overview

This is a fan dub for the entirety of the series "yuki yuna is a hero" that includes the first season, the hero chapter, the washio chapter, and the great mankai chapter(this chapter will be casted on a later date). This fandub hopes to bring the anime back into the viewing of the public eye once again. A sort of revival as you will. all episodes will be posted and shared via a google drive of my creation in which people my freely disperse the content on their own accord. All actors and actresses chosen will recieve a message from me and will be brought into a discord of my own creation. I hope to see your wonderful auditions.

  • Casting is finally closed

    Hello, thank you for your patience while I have been figuring out who to cast for what. At this time the casting for the main characters is over and all those who were not chosen for main roles will be selected for background characters. congratulations to those who have been selected. Now, I have sent a majority of people friend requests on discord however, I am still missing a few. So to anyone who has not gotten one please let me know and I will fix that. Please also include your discord friend request name so that way i may contact you. thank you so much for your interest in this project and once again I apologize for how long it took to get to this stage. i will also be sending friend requests out to people who got chosen for background characters so that I may include them in the discord server.

  • Sorry for the delay!

    I am so sorry for the delay! College has been kicking my butt, but I promise, Casting will be soon! the discord has been made and the script is currently in the works. yuna yuki is a energetic and kindhearted person. she has a strong loyalty to the people she sees as her friends and the hero club she is in. when looking for someone im trying to find someone who can match that peppy, upbeat personality.

  • (calm and gentle) “We try to make the most of things through our extracurricular activities. Fu Inubozaki is a third year student and our club president, she’s the one that came up with the story for today's play. Itsuki’s her little sister and a first year and absolutely adores her big sister. And last but not least is my best friend Tougo, she moved in next door from me just last year. Even though we’re best friends she still insists I call her by her last name. Our club volunteers to do absolutely anything, just as long as it helps someone in need. Together we are known as the Shonshun middle school hero club!”

this character is one of the main characters of season 1. unlike her older sister, Fu. she is very timid and shy, having difficulty singing in front of people. This is also a singing role as she does have a song in one the episodes, that song is important to one of the characters development and the plot.   • (this is just a few lines of the song, english translated) i'm so glad we met. in the forest that is bright with the sunlight that falls through the trees. the wind is always warm. my heart feels like it is going to come undone.

this character is definitely a bit more out going and confident than her younger sister, Itsuki. Fu is a third year and the president of the hero club. she is also the inital leader of the 5 people chosen by the taisha to be heros(magical girls). she has a strong sense of loyalty to her friends and most importantly her sister. who she is the legal gaurdian of. Fu also has a strong sense of what she likes to call "girl power". For this character I need a strong outgoing voice who can also get in touch with the more emotional side of the character, who shows in later episodes.

  • (angry and upset) "It's the Taisha! I'm taking them down! they lied to all of us, I'v had enough! thats right, We're never gonna get better!"

  • (playing as the demon king, speaking in defense): “I have done nothing! The villagers show fear because I am different! Now they portray me as evil!” (directors note: for this, just pretend you're doing a puppet show for children and you're playing the villan)

  • (gentle yet firm) “Her improvising is what got us into trouble in the first place”

karin is a headstrong, stubborn character who become much more open and kind to the team as the first season progresses, basically just think of the tsundere sterotype and you got karin miyoshi. when auditioning for her, think about her past and how arrogant that could make someone. she was chosen specifically by the taisha to be a hero and was meant to act as a "supervisor" for the rest of the hero club.

  • (nonchalant then really excited at the end) "splitting a watermelon blindfolded? just another boring game for simple minded-Itsuki that's it. stop right there now swing down!"

  • (confused) "why do i have to be in this wacko club?"

  • (arrogant) "i was specifically chosen by the taisha, in other words you are no longer needed, so you're work here is done, bye bye"

nogi is a very easy going girl who tends to have the habit of spacing out. her first apperance was in episode 8 season 1 of the anime, however she makes a more prominent appearence in later seasons, namely the washio chapter. from her scenes in the anime she has a slightly high pitched voice, paired with a subtle gentleness. that is the kind of voice actor im looking for. someone who can match an easygoing yet intellectual personality.

  • (woken up with a start, then slightly calm) "Whaa! im sorry mom!....wait....this isnt home."

  • (panicked and struggling) "I forgot this could turn into a sheild!"

  • (excited) "oh! I have an idea!"

this girl is a very confident yet kind hearted individual. she often runs late to classes due to her tendancy to help literally anyone and everyone in her path. she is very confident when she fights vertexes and keeps a positive outlook while fighting them. this character has a outgoing, rapsy voice. so please try to hone that when auditioning for her.

  • (disgusted) "it tasted like cider in the begining then switched to oolong tea midway through...."

I have not done casting for the Great Mankai arc yet so this is your chance to possibly wow me and convince me to offer you a role in that as a main character.
