Project Overview
SUMMARY OF YU-GI-OH! GX
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (known as Duel Monsters GX in Japan) is the spinoff of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime/manga set as a direct sequel.
It follows the story of Jaden Yuki (Judai Yuki in the Japanese version) trying his best to get through Duel Academy while dealing with all kinds of monsters, spirits and annoying sub-plots you'd expect from a Yu-Gi-Oh! spinoff.
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
This is a fandub of a scene from episode 02 "Welcome To Duel Academy" In which Chazz Princeton (Jun Manjome in the Japanese version) challenges Jaden to a duel late at night without permission from the staff. Of course, our hero being energetic and always ready for a fight instantly accepts his opponents request and meets him at the school's duel arena. Dragging Syrus Truesdale (Sho Marufuji in the Japanese version) along with him he arrives to find Chazz and his goons waiting for his arrival. They both agree on the terms of the duel (the loser would give up his best card) and begin. Shortly after the duel begins Alexis Rhodes (Asuka Tenjoin in the Japanese version) joins the fray to observe the duel and when it concludes scolds them both.
WHAT WE WANT/WHY WE'RE HERE
With Jon and I being male, can't perform female voices so we need an actress for Alexis.
ARE THERE ANY RULES?
Sorta?, I'm very forgiving when it comes to rules.
- HAVE A RELATIVLY DECENT MICROPHONE. I won't kill you for having a USB mic but Jon might have an allergic reaction.

PERSONALITY
Alexis Rhodes/Asuka Tenjoin is one of the main characters and main love interest of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. She's a strong duelist, very confident, sweet, caring, brave and strong-willed, however, unlike a lot of the people in her position doesn't act bitter towards the students in lower ranks nor does she tolerate it.
Despite her rank and title as "Madonna" or "Queen of Obelisk Blue" she's sweet and extremely humble, while she is considered the prettiest girl in school she doesn't use this to gain an advantage in duels or manipulate others (like Mai Valentine from the original series) she relies on her skill to get where she wants, though she still attracts a lot of unwanted attention from the male students.
VOICE
Alexis has a strong and mature voice akin to her personality, I'd say mid to mid-low or somewhere around there.
I'd say go for something original, however, if you want a reference I'll provide one for both English and Japanese.
"I had a feeling I'd find you guys here." - Sarcastic, almost condescending. Imagine your younger siblings are causing a ruckus while your parents are out.
"Nice moves Jaden" - Impressed, very happy. Say it with a bright smile on your face.
"Scoff The rules say no off hour arena duels. Chazz knows that, but let me guess he didn't tell you?" - Scolding. You gotta sound like you're trying to take charge, be really demanding.
