►Summary
Piano prodigy Arima Kousei dominated the competition and all child musicians knew his name. But after his mother, who was also his instructor, passed away, he had a mental breakdown while performing at a recital that resulted in him no longer being able to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing was perfectly fine. Even two years later, Kousei hasn't touched the piano and views the world in monotone, and without any flair or color. He was content at living out his life with his good friends Tsubaki and Watari until, one day, a girl changed everything. Miyazono Kaori is a pretty, free spirited violinist whose playing style reflects her personality. Kaori helps Kousei return to the music world and show that it should be free and mold breaking unlike the structured and rigid style Kousei was used to.

►About the Project
Hello everyone! Around 2 months ago, I decided to watch " Your Lie in April "
after many of my friends and peers recommended it. It was a very pure anime, filled with so much emotion. I hope to make this trailer portray that part of the anime as well. A trailer that tells a story, not so much with it's animation or sound effects, but with the raw emotion from the voice actors and actresses. Haha, I'm not really sure if that makes any sense, but anyways, here's another project!
The mixing and scripting are both complete! I hope to put this out before the end of this year just to give you an image of what you're working with.

Bio: Tsubaki is Kousei's childhood friend. She has always gone to his performances and cheered him on. Tsubaki would often invite Kousei to play outside but due to his practice time with his mother, she usually ended in failure. Being with Kousei for a long time, Tsubaki gradually took on the role as an "older sister." Kousei was that "useless little brother she just had to take care of." Rather than the music type, Tsubaki was the athletic type. She was on the softball team in both middle school and high school along with her senpai from middle school where she enjoyed the sport a lot.
It hurts to see him like this.
Because right now, Kousei’s only living his life halfway.
Ever since that day, he's been trapped with nowhere to escape.

Bio: Kousei is a prodigy pianist and was the youngest pianist to win the Saki Competition but quit playing after the death of his mother resulted in his inability to hear the sounds of his own playing. Following the death of his mother, he lived two years without playing the piano and saw the world through monotone colors, but this changed after meeting Kaori Miyazono, a beautiful young musician who pushed Kousei to his limits in an attempt to get his fingers back onto the piano keys.

Bio: Kaori Miyazono was a free-spirited violinist whose playing style reflects on her personality. She was independent, unpredictable, and short-tempered. It is also touched upon that she could have been passive aggressive at times. Kaori liked to depend on herself and only herself and could be seen as more of a support for others.
Do you... think you’ll be able to forget? I’m not holding back. So that the people who’ve heard me... will never forget me. So that... I can live in their hearts forever.
Are you still afraid? There you go again, looking down! We’re all afraid, you know… to get up on stage. Maybe you’ll mess up. Maybe they’ll totally reject you. Even so… You grit your teeth and get up on stage anyway.
Come on... Let's go on a journey!
Voice Type: Medium, Light
Bio: Ryouta is Kousei and Tsubaki's childhood friend who is also the captain of the school's soccer team. He is extremely popular with girls, often adopting a frivolous attitude. However, he does once in a while come up with good insight.
Ryota is a bit of a play-boy. He seems to prefer girls who are "cute" seen as he comments in episode 1 that when he sees Kaori for the first time he stated that Tsubaki did a good job on finding a cute looking girl.
Whether or not it's impossible, the girl will let you know.
