Project Overview

This is an indie 3rd person action-adventure. 

If you are chosen for any of the roles, you'll be on call for lines since recording the lines takes less time than writing them or implementing them into the game. 
Honestly, the development of the game is going to take probably well over a year, since I'm doing everything myself in my free time. I'll only call you up when I'm ready, so you won't have to do too much all at once. The game is pretty story oriented, so the leads will have a lot of lines, but there won't be much time pressure to get them recorded.

Val is a man out of his element, from a time when a lot of social norms didn't exist. He's seen a lot for his age, but he's still pretty young, and this should be portrayed in his voice. It should be deep, but not old. A good reference would be Yusei Fudo's voice from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds. he

  • "She killed dozens of people! She could've been 12 or 112 and I would've put her down just the same. The fact that you have any doubts about it says more about you than it does me, Gwen. I had to watch that little girl - no - monster burn their flesh off, watch them melt like hot slag. They were people, and they deserved to live more than she did. I don't regret what I did."

  • "Damn it, Gwen, I didn't want to bring you into this. Not even for your safety at this point, but mine. Every problem I've run into since I got here has been directly your fault! Now, I have a lead to follow. Tail me again, and I'll give you a reason to not trust me."

  • "This madhouse isn't Ashe, but it'll have to do for now. At least I have my gun with me."

Gwen is a remarkable girl from unremarkable origins. She likes to joke around and on the whole is pretty light hearted, but is no pushover and will put her foot down on a number of things.

  • "It wouldn't be the first time I had to fight a clown in a bear suit, you know. There was this one time at the circus... You know, who even robs a circus?"

  • "Now you see me, now you have brain damage! Woo hoo! You know, on second thought, maybe I should call these guys an ambulance."

  • "You aren't from some far off world! You're from the boroughs! You lived right next door to me for 15 years! I killed you! I buried you! I cried for you! You can't leave me again! I'm not gonna let you ruin your second chance at life over some delusion that you come from a place that doesn't exist!"
