Yohmi : Flower Who Covets the Moon (Stopmotion Animated short)
Project Overview
Yohmi - The Flower Who Covets the Moon is a stop motion animated short film using paper puppets.
This story follows a young courtesan lady of the red lanterns district, Kisa, and her struggle to fight against the raging storm of fate to keep her dimly lit dream of becoming an actress alive, but with the unlikely companion ship she found with the mysterious retainer of the royal princess, Lord Runa. There might be a way to fight against the unstoppable tide of destiny.
This story is a prelude to my original series "Yohmi, a delivery for the Kami" and also a sequel to another prelude which was adapted to "The Princess Who Forges the Sun."
Voice Actor
Kisa is the protagonist of this story. She is a young courtesan lady of the red lantern district. Who has an impossible wish to escape her fate and becoming an actress.
She has a refined, yet sweet/playful voice with a tiny sense of melancholy hidden within all the facade.

Voice Actor
Aine (Ai-ne, similar to Kaine from Nier) is the protagonist of the original series Yohmi, but she only appears in one scene in this animation as a teaser character. She is a young commoner delivery girl who's hard working to provide for her younger brother. (They're orphans)
She is a playful and kind sounding young girl who has a bit of tom boyish feeling to how she speaks.

She is quite fierce and strong sounding.

Nako is a supporting character. She is young girl who is the servant of Kisa, the courtesan. She also perform as a male character in Kisa's little play.
She is a sweet and kind sounding young girl. When she perform as a male character in the play, she should sounds like how a girl mimic a male voice.
