Yakamora Rivals | Casting Call
Project Overview
Yakamora Rivals is a Minecraft mini-game, heavily inspired by 'Marvel Rivals'. The roster consists of characters from an older roleplay project from this studio, titled; 'Yakamora High', which drew inspiration from the anime & manga 'My Hero Academia'.
In a forsaken world, a villain by the name of 'Queen' claims power of interdimensional origins and makes an attempt to collapse all realities and dimensions into one in order to create complete chaos- all under her control. With the situation as dire as it is, the Heroes and Villains of the Yakamora High universe find themselves putting their differences aside to end Queen's tyrannical plans.
In teams of up to 6 players, select your desired character from three different roles (VANGUARD, DUELIST, OR STRATEGIST) and head into battle in the style of a first-person hero shooter to confront the anormal objective present and hinder Queen's schemes.

Jake spent his youth idolizing heroes and admiring their powers, though he could never become comfortable with his own. This insecurity lead to him viewing himself as weak and undependable. He poorly hides this behind bad jokes and a fragile smile.

Ideally, the character would have a deeper / more intimidating, almost raspy voice.

Hyōsai has a generally chilled out personality, paired with a fierce rage when provoked at the wrong time. After being marked by a demon, he's taken time and measures to train his temper and prevent his anger from getting out of control, for he worries he may hurt those closest to him the next time it happens.

Hitokage is a star student from Yakamora's rival school; Korietto. She's known for her cool demeanor and exceptional talent when it comes to combat. As a fairly normal teenage girl, she's of course, susceptible to her own awkward faults such as her anxiety.

A world-threatening force, Sylleth is the direct result of a merge between an astonishing human hero & scientist, and a sinister alien hellbent on stripping humanity of its supernatural powers. After facing defeat once and being temporarily split, its evil tendencies seemed to have settled down, as it now serves to be more of an anti-heroic figure.

The leader of the student council at Yakamora's rival school, Eve prides herself on her calculating prowess and ability to influence others with her words alone. She also treasures her physical appearance greatly, never allowing herself to be seen in anything but her best.

A short girl with an even shorter temper, Yoriko works as the vice president of Korietto's student council. More than anything, she despises being underestimated, and often makes it her purpose to make sure those who do underestimate her live to regret it. Even though she puts up this strong front, she is still flustered easily by words, sometimes causing her to lose her composure altogether.
Despite her appearance, a slightly more mature, deeper voice is what the character would have.

Raised out in a trailer park by incompetent parents, Patrico learned to fight for himself and his eccentric younger brother at a young age. He trained his powers until they reached overwhelming levels of strength, causing him to gain a bit of an ego- something that annoys his peers and enemies alike very deeply. But, when you can outrun the speed of sound and thwart villains before they have the chance to blink, a little bit of cockiness feels deserved.

The homeroom teacher of Yakamora High's top students, Mr. Shida moves in mysterious ways. True to his hero name of "Ferninja", he blends in with nature when he chooses to, disappearing in a moment's notice. While actually present at his job, he actually finds a comfort in teaching and training the next generation of heroes, even if they often work his nerves.

And for most, this false cheerfulness is better off than seeing her true self, for any and all who have seen her fully 'demonic' side have never been the same, reduced to shells of themselves.
