Xenoblade Comic Dub Castings! (SPOILER WARNING)
Project Overview
Now casting for Xenoblade Chronicles comic dubs! The fan comics involved range from serious to comedic to absolutely unhinged, and will be posted online with credit to all parties. While I may ask for lines in advance, dubs will only be released with permission from the original creators.
This is a casual project--I'm doing this as a Xenoblade Chronicles fan and a person who wants to practice working with different accents than usual. Even if you're not confident in your ability to do accents, I encourage you to try if you feel a character already suits your emotional and vocal range!
As these characters span across the series, there will be SPOILERS FOR ALL THREE MAINLINE XENOBLADE GAMES. The following descriptions are a mix between my own interpretations of the characters and paraphrased personality profiles on the Xenoblade Wiki.
Requirements
1-3 takes per line. Feel free to throw in lines of your choice at the end of the recording!
A decent microphone, preferably USB or XLR. Please ensure you can be heard clearly, your volume is at a reasonable level, and there is no clipping or distortion.
A quiet recording space, free from background noise or excessive echo.

Fiora (Xenoblade Chronicles) is a cheerful and sweet inhabitant of Colony 9, with emotional insight that allows her to get along with others quickly. She takes delight in helping the people she loves, backed by her courage, determination, and unreal aptitude for combat. Unfortunately, her protective nature can tip over into self-sacrifice.
While I'm not looking for a 1-to-1 impression, Fiora has a Southern British English accent. If you can match her accent and energy, that's all you really need.

Reyn (Xenoblade Chronicles) is a soldier enlisted in Colony 9's Defense Force. While calling him a meathead wouldn't be wrong, Reyn's boisterous attitude and heart of gold make him one of the most reliable friends anyone could ask for. Oh, and a source of highly quotable one-liners.
While I'm not looking for a 1-to-1 impression, Reyn speaks with a slightly softened Cockney dialect. If you can match his accent and energy, that's all you really need.

Galea (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) or Meyneth (Xenoblade Chronicles) is a researcher-turned-god. She is a caring, humble, and virtuous individual who believes people should live without subjection to a higher power. Despite her divine nature, she prefers friends over disciples, and wishes to create a world with no need for gods--even if it means laying down her life.
While I'm not looking for a 1-to-1 impression, Galea has a Southern British English accent. If you can match her accent and energy, that's all you really need.

Nia (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) is a sarcastic, rough, and brash Gormotti, whose catty remarks lead to no shortage of entertaining exchanges. While she's surprisingly caring, Nia's empathy is overshadowed by her highly cynical outlook. Due to a terrible past, she believes no one will ever accept who and what she is. She struggles with self-acceptance until she finds what she's been searching for: friends who will fight for her, and the inspiration to live without fear.
Later, she becomes Queen Nia (Xenoblade Chronicles 3), leader of Agnus. Despite her grand status, she remains uncouth at heart, comically masking her true personality to maintain an air of mystique and professionalism.
While I'm not looking for a 1-to-1 impression, Nia has a very thick Welsh accent. If you can match her accent and energy, that's all you really need.

Special Inquisitor Mòrag (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) is Mor Ardain's most powerful Driver and the head of its military. Chivalrous, determined, and loyal, she fulfills her duties with a cool head and a professional attitude. While her aloof nature can make it difficult to express her true feelings, she cares all the same for her close friends and allies. Her masculine mannerisms and attire sometimes lead to her being mistaken as a man.
While I'm not looking for a 1-to-1 impression, Mòrag's accent is expressly Scottish, specifically an Edinburgh dialect. If you can match her accent and energy, that's all you really need.

Taion is a former soldier of Agnus. A cheeky tactician with an analytical mind, he can be prone to annoyance and overthinking when he fails to understand something or a plan falls through. He has a timid and melancholic side as he harbors a great deal of survivor's guilt, but his kindness always shines through--when it comes to his friends, he cares deeply for them in his own way.
While I'm not looking for a 1-to-1 impression, Taion has a Southern British English accent (correct me if I'm wrong). If you can match his accent and energy, that's all you really need.
