What is this project?:
This project is based on the Eurovision Song Contest, which recently, a few years ago, celebrated 60 years of entertaining Europe through song and dance, and its new franchise of expanding to Asia for Eurovision Asia in 2018. I thought it was about time, with all the fan-made Eurovision contests online, to make a worldwide one featuring singers from all over the world through CCC. As a HUGE Eurovision fanatic from America, who even outdoes Europeans on my trivia of it, I would love to start this tradition for YouTube.
What is my job as the creator of this casting call?: My job is to cast the judges and the host, which will then help me decide the acts for each nation. My job ends after that, and I become just the manager. I have other projects I'm working on that need to come before this.
How will the contestants be decided?: How many likes an audition has will not play a factor in who gets chosen. They must be of the origin of that nation by at least a half or a fourth of that nationality, if not fully from that nation and living there. If found out you are not, you will be disqualified to compete for that nation. You may audition for as many countries you have close ancestry to, but only represent one in the end. This is to keep representation of that nation to only those that are among its people or related to its people. Then it will be decided by singing talent.
What language do we sing in?: You can sing in the language(s) of the nation or in English (though the latter is highly discouraged unless you represent an English speaking nation). Any song works as long as you can secure a proper instrumental. Original songs can even be sung. Auditions can be sung in acapella, but the semi final and finals will have to have instrumentals to them.
How many songs must I prepare?: Three songs. One for the audition. One for the Semi-final that you are in and then the Grand Final, if you make it to the semi-finals and Grand Final, that is. You may not sing audition song for the semi-final or Grand Final. You may not necessarily make it to the Grand Final, but you need to have a song prepared, just in case you make it. We will release a video with all the songs that were prepared for the Grand Final after it is over.
The other answer: four songs if you're from the US! Your audition song, your US Semi-final to pick the top 4, and then the worldwide semi-final, and Grand final!
How will the voting work?: The artists competing will all vote for their favorite, excluding their own, and then the judges will vote for their favorites. The artists are 50% and the judges are 50%.
Will I need to show my face?: No, not at all, you can choose a character picture online that will represent you while you sing or you can send in a photo of yourself if you'd like.
Am I allowed to use effects on my voice?: It is limited to noise removal. No auto-tune is allowed. We want to hear your real voice too, so no pitch change effects. You will be disqualified if you are found to have used effects.
How many contestants are allowed per country past the auditions?: Two per country at most. If we are overloaded with US auditions, or auditions for other countries that use this website a lot, we will accept four though.
How will the running order be decided?: By random by the host and me using an online randomizing generator.
You will be responsible for your own mixing, you may get a mixer to help, and if you want to advertise as being a mixer, you can comment below for people to ask you to help if they get accepted.
The final deadline for this is October 31st,
2018. I will not be casting until then. It won't let me push the
deadline back that far. Selection will be the first week of November.
The contest will begin the second week of November, and end on the third
week with the Grand Final. Judges/the Host will be selected in August.
You may audition for any country you were born in, have lived in for a large portion of your life, or currently live in, as well as if your parents or grandparents were from there.

I want qualified people. I won't be a judge, just for your information, I am just a manager of this project. The judges are really important to this project.
I need 10 judges (I can go with 5 though if not enough people audition for this role). I already have 1 in mind who is a friend that is a classically trained opera singer and another who is a college music major, so I only have 8 remaining spots.
Can be any gender and will also be singing coaches to the top people going to the grand final.
