Persephone joined Lia’s coven after Lia. She is someone who uses magic as her escape. She didn’t have the best past before joining the coven, so she is trying to use magic to make something positive out of the world. This can make her come off as flighty or ditzy, but she is almost always trying to learn more.
Persephone is 17 years old and can be played by a female or female-aligned person.

I don’t understand. Hazel was always so good to us. And what does any of this have to do with Lia?
That doesn’t make sense. I’ve read about blood magic, but there’s something else going on here.
Bee is one of the earliest members of Lia’s coven. She is a fierce believer in magic, even including the kinds from fantasy novels. Bee is very positive, and refuses to accept bad situations unless she can’t think of any way to fix it, no matter how impossible her solutions may be.
Bee is 16 years old and can be played by a female or female-aligned person.

I don’t know why we’re all trapped down here, but I’m going to figure out a way to get out, even if the rest of you don’t care.
Why can’t we trust them? They’re trapped down here just like the rest of us, and maybe we don’t have the whole story yet.
Annabel was the last member to join Lia’s coven. She has a quieter personality with very little willingness to trust people right away. Due to her quiet nature, she often notices things that others do not and is able to get away with a little bit more. Despite being so quiet, she is a fierce defender of her family.
Annabel is 17 years old and can be played by a female or female-aligned person.

Hazel’s been hiding things from us for months. You all just trust her too much.
We can’t trust the Guild. I don’t know if we can trust Hazel and Lia, but we shouldn’t trust the people who lock us up and say it’s for the best.
Darcy joined Lia’s coven only days after Lia. Darcy’s magic is very rooted in her emotions, which has resulted in Darcy dealing with serious anxiety. She tends to be a little bit more reserved because she is afraid she’ll accidentally hurt someone, but she thinks very quickly.
Darcy is 16 years old and can be played by a female or female-aligned person.

Please. Calm down. Let’s just think it all through before we make any rash decisions.
We need to think about this logically. They had to be hiding everything from us for a reason, right?
These folks are, honestly, pretty awful. They’re like the human embodiment of greed and a hunger for power that they think only they deserve. They care about no one besides the few people they consider to be superior.
Only upside? I don’t have any preset uncast Guild Agents, but instead I’ll be writing them in as I go. Which means anyone can play a guild agent: they have no set gender, age, race, anything! Only thing, all Guild Agents have the vibe of “pretentious government asshole,” so keep that in mind.
She's not cooperating. Take her back to her cell and bring in that other one.
Oh, Hazel. Don't you get it by now? Those girls all think the world of you. Which makes it so much more fun to tell them that you're guilty.
I may not have used truth serum on you, but you're definitely not a good enough liar to trick me. The more you cooperate, the faster you can get out of here and back to your apartment. How does that sound?
Cass is Lia’s best friend, though it’s fairly clear through Lia’s tapes that she likes her more than that. She lives across the hall from Lia and is the daughter of a fortune teller. Lia trusts Cass just as much as she’s able to, but Cass is starting to want some answers.
Cass is 16 years old and can be played by a female or female-aligned person.
Note: Cass isn’t a major character in season 1, but she will become more important in season 2!
Lia, what’s going on? Why did you leave me all those voicemail messages?
Oh, of course you’re witches! Why didn’t I see that clearly insane fact from the beginning?
So you mean you’re a real witch? Like with a pointy hat and a cauldron and everything? I’ll trust you, but only if you explain everything to me later. Maybe over a coffee or something?
