This project is a fandub of the Winx Club comic series based on the original tv show Winx Club created by Iginio Straffi.
From 2012, the company VIZ media, in accompany with Nickelodeon, created the winx club comic series. Over 200 comics have been created so far, each translated from the original Italian to allow it to reach international audiences. Whilst the Winx Club series as a whole is quite popular, the comic series has skipped the minds of many fans. Therefore, with the project, I am hoping to reach this series out to a whole new audience.
Within the comic series, the first twelve issues follow the natural story of the original tv show, and then, the further issues branch out into new adventures. This makes it a whole new experience for fans of the original show as they discover new stories that befell their favourite characters!
I have already created dubs of the first 3 comics within the series, and am currently working on the fourth. Unfortunately, it came time to recast one of the characters, so I'm here trying to once again find the perfect match for the series. I look forward to having an eager individual who can join our fabulous group!
As this is a series covering the comics in order of their release, this is a long-running series, so I do ask that people have the time to commit to something long-term! However, there are always a few month's break between the deadlines of lines!
If this interests you, I would so greatly love for you to audition. Here are the rules that I would like to be followed, below!
Rules:
- Have a decent-sounding mic. As long as there is no static and the lines are delivered without any echoes, I am happy! I have heard a lot of good work done on just a phone as long as you're in a good environment!
- Communication will be done via Discord through a server, so please leave your Discord ID in the description of your audition.
- Respect the deadlines. I give around 3-4 weeks after the scripts are sent out to have lines in, though, I am more than happy to give an extension if needed, just requires some communication!
- Use emotion! The characters can't exhibit as much emotion in comic form, so I need a lot of it to be done through your voice! Don't be afraid!
- Please do 3 takes of each line, with differing variations each time. Ad-libbing or changing the lines in any way to make it flow better is also welcomed!
- Have fun! This is just a silly and fun project that can be used to improve yours and my own voice acting whilst having some fun with others!

The casting call is coming to a close and was just wondering if anyone here would be interested in being an extra/minor role within the series? They're always needed and always incredibly appreciated! These extras or minor roles can have multiple lines within the episode, and can be a lot of fun!

Riven is a very brooding and arrogant character. He is afraid of appearing weak, so is pretty rude to everyone he meets. He eventually develops a soft spot for Musa, and can be a good friend to his fellow specialists. Riven has a deep and raspy-ish voice, and says everything like he is the smartest person in the room. Think of like that classic douchebag teen boy and that's him!
(teasing, cocky) "man, you're beautiful when you're angry"
(rude) "Oh come on, Sky, you're the one who said you wanted to make a splashy entrance!"
(heartwarming) "Promise you'll come back to me. I don't know what I would do without you, Musa (pronounced mew-sa). Ok?"
Mike is Bloom's adoptive father on Earth. He knew nothing of the magic world before Bloom met Stella when she was 16. With his wife Vanessa, Mike raised Bloom into the girl we see throughout the story. He is a very protective, yet kind and caring father.
He is in his 40s with a more deep and fatherly voice.
*Assignment to this character opens up the potential to voice many similar characters in the story, as Mike does not appear as often*
(friendly) "Good morning, Bloom!"
(flabbergasted) "Bloom! You sure you aren't imagining things again? Fancy cooking up such absurd tales!"
(scared) "Bloom! Save yourself! What are you doing?"
