Project Overview
Wings of Fire "Moon Rising" Graphic Novel Dub - This is (hopefully) our final casting call for the "Moon Rising" graphic novel dub through Convexity Studios. We are looking for extras, singers, composers, and editors. This is an unpaid fan project.
Requirements: 13+, decent recording quality, and a Discord account.

Q: Can I audition for multiple characters? Does my/their gender matter?
A: You can audition for as many as you'd like. Your gender does not necessarily matter and we are listing for the gender of the characters, but we have ideas for how we think the dragons should sound. Most of us agree we wouldn't want a deep masculine voice for Sunny, for example.
Q: Can I get cast as multiple characters? Do I need to audition if I'm already in the dub?
A: Yes you can get cast as multiple characters/roles, but it is unlikely for this call specifically that you will receive more than one extra role. If you are already in the dub , please feel free to submit lines for this since the lines may be used directly (with credit) if another VA drops out.
Q: What will improve my chances of getting a role?
A: Following casting call instructions, making sure your audio is free from background noise, and not begging for roles. While it wont improve your chances, we would love to see why you are interested in the project, too!

If you make music, and want to work with us to make music for this dub, this is your place! As a note, we do not use AI. We will need the following:
- A piece that you have made (at least 1 minute long).
- Your Discord username and your pronouns.
- Tell us about your strengths when it comes to music compositions. What instruments or genres do you have experience with?

Singers will be needed for 1-2 songs in the dub. These songs may be reused in future dubs. As a note, we do not use AI. We will need the following:
- A clip of you singing a song. It must be at least one minute long. Please do not heavily edit (reverb, autotune, etc) your audio. It can have background instrumentals, but we must be able to hear you clearly and it must not include background vocals.
- The name of the song and original artist.

We are looking for editors for any part of our process from short-form teasers to sound editing to actually editing parts of the comic dub. We have one editor that is doing the bulk of our editing so we want to lighten the load. As a note, we do not use AI. We will need the following:
- Your discord name and pronouns,
- What your editing preference(s) is/are and what program(s) you use. If you are more interested in short-form videos, sound editing, etc,
- Work that supports your editing preference(s). If you like sound design, an example of sound design you've done. Or if you edit comic dubs, show us that!
