Project Overview

Hello, Willowheart Studio’s Co-director Ellie here! Welcome to our assorted casting call. WillowHeart Studio has recently reached 35k subscribers and there is a link below if you’d like to check it out. We are currently casting for 3 different projects that need a few roles filled. One is our Warriors: Into the Wild audiodub that is ongoing. The second is Crossing the River, a short one-shot by Cheesecake Chinchilla. The 3rd is a commission from our Mod Furious about his friends and their dragon OCs that we are calling The Furious Project for now. :)

Requirements:

- Must be willing to read chapter, character, or location summaries as asked

- Age 13+ or older

- Have Discord (and the ability to join 2 servers and check discord at least once a week).

What will improve my chances?:
1. We will not accept anyone that does not follow instructions on this casting call. Please read everything carefully and follow instructions.

2. If you are okay with multiple of the categories, feel free to apply for whichever ones fit as we enjoy double casting.

3. Briefly tell us your relevant experience and/or why you auditioned for the role.

4. Do not beg for a role.

Feel free to audition if you were not accepted in the past or are already part of any WHS projects! Remember, some WHS projects are not monetized, but we will credit you and link to wherever you'd like and we will give you good recommendations! Plus, if you are cast, you will gain access to some of our other projects that ARE monetized.

  • Setbacks

    We are experiencing setbacks due to sickness and working overtime. I apologize, but we are still casting eventually!

  • Casting

    Thank you all for your lovely auditions. If you see this, feel free to continue to audition for the Understudy Role even though the casting call is over - we use to to bookmark future talent. As for everyone else, we will be releasing casting call result videos for these projects before announcing them here, so that may take a few days. Thanks for your patience!

Yellowfang - Into the Wild Dub

 Yellowfang is a dark gray she-cat with orange eyes, a broad, flattened face, and long, matted fur. Yellowfang is a grouchy, harshly-spoken older she-cat at the best of times. However, underneath her tough exterior, she is shown to have a heart to a select few cats.

  • “Kittypet blood is not the same as warrior blood. Why don’t you run home to your Twolegs now instead of looking after me? It’s humiliating, being fussed over by a lowborn cat like you!”

  • “If I weren’t so hungry and tired, I’d have shredded you into mousedust. Finish me off. I won’t stop you . . . What are you waiting for? You’re dithering like a kittypet!”

Barley - Into The Wild Dub

Barley is a loner who lives on a farm on the edge of Windclan's territory. Barley is nervous around crowds and prefers the life of a loner.

  • Medicine Cat (Adult) - “I never discovered what we might have meant to each other. . . But I know for sure that he and I could never have been mates. I was and always will be a medicine cat. That comes first, more than any cat that walks the forest.” (reminiscing and tender voiced, but confident)

  • Leader (Older Adult) “Are you afraid of WindClan? Or are you so used to cringing before StarClan that you won’t defy them and fight for the rights of your Clan? You disappoint me, you, out of all my warriors. How can I believe you will fight with all your strength when you question my order like this? You leave me no choice. I will lead this attack myself.” (Not yelling. This character is dignified and a long time leader. Quiet anger and disbelief, but she is a little paranoid)

  • Kitty pet (Pre-teen)- “Henry told me there are all sorts of dangerous animals out there. Huge wildcats who eat live rabbits for breakfast and sharpen their claws on old bones!” (exaggerated, story telling)

  • Senior Warrior (Middle Aged)- "If wishes were prey, we'd eat like lions come leaf-bare. But we'd die of boredom! You know that's not what the life of the Clans is like. The warrior code guides us through the dark times, the cold and the hunger. And the good times seem all the sweeter for it. Have faith, Bluestar. We'll survive." (comforting and wise)

  • Warrior (Adult) - "This is not my Clan. Not any longer. ThunderClan is led by a kittypet, and there's nothing left to fight for. I feel no loyalty to ThunderClan. In the whole forest, the only cat worth following is Tigerstar." (Somewhat up to you. A mix of negative emotions like anger, disappointment, bitterness, disgust, just make it impactful)

Foxpaw - Crossing the River

Foxpaw is a 8 moons old tom who is an Duskclan apprentice. He is always claiming to be the best and most handsome apprentice in the entire clan and takes offense when someone disagrees with him on this. Despite this, he does care for everyone around him, particularly with Flumepaw, who he says is his favorite cat out of all the other clanmates of his.

Ashpaw is a 8 moons old tom who is an Duskclan apprentice. He is very responsible and always wants to ensure everyone's well being and cares a lot about his sister, Sleekpaw, who, in his opinion, is making friends with whom she shouldn't. He is also very smart and tends to think twice before doing something. The only thing this apprentice lacks in himself is courage.

Dappledpaw is an 8 moons old she-cat who is an Duskclan apprentice. She is Sleekpaw's best friend, whom she rarely stays away from. Like her friend, she bullies others, but only because she thinks that, while everyone has a wonderful life, she has a sad and miserable life, and that this is not fair, so she takes out everything she feels on others with words.

He is also a refuses to find another mate as, according to him, no one can replace Blizzardbranch and that he belives that she is waiting for him to join her in Starclan.

Stormmask is a 24 moons old tom who is the Duskclan deputy. He takes his responsibilities and duties as the clan's deputy very seriously. For him, the clan comes first, the family second. But, he has a very strong bond with his younger brother Foxpaw and will do anything to protect him. He also holds a huge grudge against his middle brother, Birchwisp, who leaved the clan to become a kittypet.

Dragons. Azalea is a different form of SnowOwl. Both are kind and gentle, try to make the voices sound different for each, though. The Furious Project is a poem.

Proud but compassionate male dragon. Has a sort of slyness and pride to his voice, though not too much. He should sound confident but happy. The Furious Project is a poem.
