Will of Demon Spirit - Voice Cast
Project Overview
Demon (noun): A creature born out of an exposure to the demonic energy known as Youki, and human misery and suffering. Were these mixed, a person could transform into a demon of varying strength.
Not all humans when met with this combination would turn into demons, however. Some, if they kept their minds and bodies at ease could stand to remain human, or fall into an in-between form known as Yokai.
To combat these demons, a group of humans specially trained to withstand youki formed a guild, using the energy to hunt down demons and keep the public safe. These people were known as "Hunters."

This story follows the 16 year old demon hunter Keisuke Hanamura, a human who's proclivity to youki matches that of a demon, alongside his hunting partner Megumi, a yokai girl with little memory of her past life as they are tasked with exterminating the most dangerous demons their world has to offer.

Keisuke Hanamura is a 16 year old demon hunter, and the main protagonist of this tale. He's quite aloof, relaxed and easy going, but can very quickly fly into a hot-headed spat.
He carries with him the katana cursed with the spirit of a demon, the Onimazu. Once the demon inside lends him his power, Keisuke can channel the abilities of a demon all while remaining human.
His voice should sound very shonen protagonist, with a good amount of energy and bravado with his deliveries, but also play it cool during the quieter moments. Think essentially Johnny Yong Bosch's performance as Ichigo Kurosaki

Megumi is the yokai companions of Keisuke Hanamura, a half-human and half-demon girl taken the form of a kitsune. Wild and unpredictable, she is always looking for the next exciting event, whether it be a fight with a demon, or just causing trouble for the humans, nothing should ever stop her from having her fun.
Her voice should be just a little raspy, but not too much to distract from her eccentric and boisterous attitude. She takes command of the scenes she's in, and demands full attention at all times. Essentially, think Power from Chainsaw Man.

Takehiro Koyama, the 16 year old demon hunter prodigy and rival of Keisuke Hanamura. Confident and prideful only begin to describe Takehiro. He's a strong fighter, and he definitely takes that in stride. While definitely standoffish, and a bit ego driven, he always finds a way to get the job done. His favorite things are good, even matches, training, and the strain on his body after a workout, being the signal of a particularly good one to him. He hates demons, one-sided fights, and long breaks.
Takehiro's voice should be boisterous and confident, like nothing really seems to phase him. He's not quite as dark as the typical shonen rival, but he should contrast Keisuke's light-hearted and aloof nature with a focused, high energy attitude.

Suzuki is the yokai companion of Takehiro Koyama, and the younger sister of Megumi. Suzuki is incredibly militant, focused, and meticulous, especially when compared with her older sibling. Even despite this, she still can't help but enjoy herself when she's in a fun match.
Her voice should be similar to Megumi's, with a slight rasp and an infectious, attention grabbing energy, but played just a bit higher.
