Project Overview
Minor role casting call! Please don't let the words 'minor role' deter you from auditioning, there are not small roles, only small actors! (ewe i cringed so hard writing that-- theater kid PTSD). But seriously, minor roles pull the entire performance together and we'd love to have your talent on our team.
"When You Reach Me" is a beloved middle grade novel by Rebecca Stead, and a personal favorite of mine. We have decided to bring this novel to life by adapting it into a narrative-style podcast.
You are encouraged to audition for as many parts as you want!! We this is the second round of VA calls for minor characters!!
It is sci-fi fiction, taking place in 1978 New York City. The story follows a young Miranda Sinclair as she navigates life as a young teen, while simultaneously dealing with her own mysterious secret.
The podcast will have 38 episodes , give or take. All original story credit goes to Rebecca Stead alone, so we don't expect to make much money off of this project.
The scripts for almost all episodes are already adapted at the time I am writing this! We will collect scripts chapter by chapter.
Voice Actor
A sweet business owner and a friend of Mom's. Age range: mid 30's-50's (unspecified) She often looks after Miranda when she loses her keys and ends up helping the kids near the end of the story.
Requirements:
