When Worlds Collide is a Minecraft Roleplay series about two strangers who end up roped into the world of crime-solving and attempted murder. This unlikely duo ends up in a month-long game of cops and robbers that will determine if they're convicted for crimes not yet committed. Will the case change? Will they survive invading enemy territory? Will Gladice ever find her cats? All questions yet to be answered. THIS IS THE CALL FOR EPISODE ONE. Alyx is a young woman who went to the store in search of bleach one faithful morning. Little did she know, that trip would change her life. Alyx is a headstrong, confident girl who speaks with conviction. She knows what she thinks and isn't afraid to let you know either.
[angry] What do you MEAN I have to stay here overnight? I had nothing to do with that bogus plan!
[annoyed] Just leave me alone... It's no one's fault we were dragged into this.
[she is pacing, talking to herself in a contemplative tone before breaking into speaking aloud] What to do... what to do... That's it! We'll stop those dirtbags ourselves. Then you'll know we're innocent.
Luca is a reserved young man from a more rural part of town. Just recently, he has moved to the city for school and lives with his great aunt Gladice. One day, she sent him to the store for cat food. That was the day his life changed, and his calm attitude either seriously aided him or caused his situation more harm.
[calm, matter-of-factly] You will not keep me here. I have work to do, and you don't have a warrant. Good day.
[tired, annoyed] If only you hadn't bumped into me...
[shocked at something someone has said] We!? I never agreed to be involved with this. Do I have to?
Gabriel is a detective who sounds far older than he looks. Time and stress have not been kind to him, and he relies on coffee for mental stability. Gabriel is a kind and patient man, but even he has his moments.
[He sighs and paces around the table] ...I understand your dilemma, but the evidence is damning. Unless one of you can prove your innocence immediately, there's nothing I can do.
[He shakes his head, sitting down across from them] I... I guess I can allow you to do that, but I can only get you so much time.
[With a low chuckle and a dismissive wave, he speaks] I like you two. Really have me hoping it's not you...
Maverick here is a handful. This character is an effective detective, but their methods aren't conventional and often cause more harm than good. The force only keeps them because it's even more trouble to dump them. They... know too much. Even so, they manage to be secretive enough about their own identity outside of the force. Maverick is a codename, and not even Gabriel knows Maverick's origin.
[annoyed] Fess up already! It's time for my lunch break.
[intrigued, mischievous even] Oh-ho-ho... You two want to help us in exchange for clearing your names? I'll see what I can do.
[scoffs] You think you can do my job better than me? I'd like to see you try.
this is a character that may or may not end up showing up again later, but don't worry! I will consider you for future roles as well if you take this one on.
[Kind, hopeful] Have a wonderful day!
[Confused, worried] What are you doing with them?
[apologetic] I'll need you to leave, I'm sorry. You're scaring people...
