Wayward Kingdom: Pilot
Project Overview
Hey everyone! My name is Jarren Greaves. I'm a relatively new director and wanted to try to make my own project. The video above is a Promo video not only to raise awareness of this project but to also show you guys that I'm actually capable of producing something. With that being said. Let me get to the rules/Requirements of the audition.
Rules and Requirements:
- 1. Don't be a douche
- This is for obvious reasons. I don't want to work with you if you are going to be a constant problem.
- 2. VERY little to no background music

- 3. Have a flexible schedule
- While I will do my best to work around you. But do realize that there might be some last minute changes that need to happen to an episode.
- 4. Have a discord
- When the cast list is announced I will send a discord link to everyone casted, to a discord server. It takes at max 5 minutes to make a discord account so this shouldn't be a problem.
- 5. Do two takes of your audition lines
- I can't stress how important this is. with these takes you need to display that you have acting range. Do the first take how the line tells you to do it. then go ahead and do your own take on that line. You can do it with an accent, a different emotion, whatever you want.
- 6. Make your audition a MP3 format
- I will be working in MP3 format for this entire show. plus it just makes it easier on me.
- 7. ABSOLUTELY NO PEAKING
- I can't use anything with peaking. if your audition peaks, You will not be considered for a role, sorry
- 8. being able to do live direction
- We will be doing live direction. But don't worry about it. I will not ever think "Oh I wish I didn't cast this person." If you get casted I casted you for a reason. Also live direction is just objectively the best way to do it.

Basic plot of Wayward Kingdoms
- Not to long ago. In the land of Vitus there were four kingdoms. Each kingdom specialized in their craft. The Terra were known for how cunning and creative they are. Their magic prowess was feared and respected by the others. The Sorainians, are masters of the blade. Their soldiers are known for undying loyalty to their kingdom. The Vances are masters of technology. Their intellect surpasses all others, and their technology improves with each day. And the Proud Melmarks. Almost a tribal like society. Although their wits are not something to desire. Their raw power in their blows are enough to keep enemies at bay.
When the kingdoms were still new. A Terran by the name of Aurelia, discovered Corrupt Magic. A type of magic that is very dangerous. It is a mixture of Psychic, and dark magic. It is extremely powerful, being able to twist someone’s mind in anyway. However it takes a huge toll on the user. And that is just the beginning of this power. As Aurelia kept going deeper into Corrupt Magic, her people began to worry that she would become too powerful to control.
The Terrans explained the situation to the neighboring kingdoms. And asked for their help. But only one kingdom sent help. The Vance kingdom sent some soldiers along with a commander, to help them capture, or kill Aurelia. The battle lasted for almost an hour. Vance and Terran bodies adorned the battlefield. When a miracle happened. A Terran, walked over to Aurelia. And, with Terrifying power, Sealed her in a prison of magic infused ice. The battlefield turned into tundra. Where no living creature would dare to live in such a place. - Flash forward to today we follow Nyles, Gav, and Tressa. On their own journeys to find their own place in the world. As they question everything they were taught. they find out that the world is darker than they knew.

She has mystic magic. Magic that deals with psychic and dark powers. Her people is the only thing she has left. She has plans to make the Terrains a powerful people. She boasts furious power that is still shrouded in mystery. She has a soft spot for her own people. She is King Renold's Second in Command
She needs to have a mid-high range voice.
(Concerned) My king, We have don't have anything left. Our kingdom will die out soon if we don't do something!
(Scornful) I’m not letting my people die here. You should know that…(In spite) My king.
(Angry) NO! I’m done listening, and waiting. I’m tired of waiting for things to get better. Are you with me or against me?
A leader from the Terran Kingdom, but later joined the Sorain Kingdom, when Sothia cared for him when his wife died. Renowned Military tactician, known for his quick and decisive battles. His Wife died because of a Terran, because of this, he hates his own kind. Though he may come off as bashful, he believes that he is well intentioned.
Devin's voice is a low-mid voice.
(Respectful) You called me King Renold?
(Stern) Are you trying to get yourselves killed? The Kings Word is Final!
(Enraged) She didn’t need to be sacrificed! You killed her in cold blood! You are going to pay for what you did to her!
King of Terrians, Seeker of Knowledge, Bringer of Light, whatever he may be called he has a reputation for his generosity to his people. He takes it upon himself to aid his people. Although when it comes to the other kingdoms, one might say he is a coward.
He should have a low voice, that is firm but warm.
(Happy) Ahhh! Aurelia, I hope you were safe on your travels.
(Slightly angered) You really think we have a chance. We are weak compared to the other Kingdoms.
(lightly concerned) What is on your mind? You make speak freely.
James is a perky commander. He's usually in high spirits when he's just talking, but he knows when to get serious when he needs too.
I'm not really looking for any type of voice for him so anyone can audition for this guy
Attention rebel Terrans. This is Vancer Division 103. You’re rebellion will cease immediately or we will use deadly force. The decision is yours.
Fine. Just be careful.
We've been friends for a while now. I was his third friend? No fourth. Guy doesn't really like people.
A citizen of the Terran Kingdom. Aware that their way of life is dying out. Wants to make the Terrans a powerful race again.

(Pledging) You have my loyalty, Queen Aurelia
(Hopeful) Though there is only a few of us. We can still win if you lead us into battle.

(Blunt, and bashful) Piss off man.
(Concerned) my wife, she’s pregnant and she needs more food. I give her some of my rations but it isn’t enough. There’s just not enough food.
