Warriors of Elvian
Audition requirements
=================
+ Sound like a 14-19 year old / Preferably 19 y/o, but if that isn't possible for you, it's okay.
+ Clear mic always / no matter how good your voice is, you will not be considered if there isn't little-to-no background noise
+ Have as much emotion as possible! / if you sound way too quiet, or don't have enough emotion, you will not be considered. This requirement may be broken if character description says to do so.
THE PICTURES ON EACH CHARACTER CARD ARE NOT MY ART STYLE, THEY WERE CREATED ON MEIKER.IO TO SHOW A BASIC IDEA OF WHAT THEY WOULD LOOK LIKE!!!
Overmodulation tip
================
Overmodulation happens sometimes, and it happens to everyone at one point. Overmodulation is the kind of.. boom.. in your audio. Basically, like when the mic kinda overstimulates the voice that is being distributed into it, and it almost sounds like you just blew into it. If that makes sense. Fixing this is very simple. I assume you are using an earbud microphone since they are the biggest victim of overmodulation. Even if you are using anything else, overmodulation can be fixed the same way despite the model, item, etc.
-
1. Angle your mouth and/or face. %45 in angle is best. If you do this, speaking louder is easier.
2. Space between you're mic, and your mouth. I usually space myself and my microphone 2 to 4 inches away from my face. This reduces the "boom" in your audio.
-
If you're using a pro mic, then try putting a sock over your mic. No, literally. Put it ON your mic. If you need to see what it would look like, take the youtuber Chad Chad as an example. Fabric absorbs sound, so not only does it reduce your overmodulation, but it also reduces background noise. However, if you don't do the 2 things I listed above, then it probably won't do anything about your overmodulation.
