Warframes Announce their Abilities||Part 2
Project Overview
Good morning, evening or night my lovely voic princes, princesses and all in between ! This is the second wave of voice actors that I will be looking for, for our series ‘What if Warframes Announced thier Abilities.’ For anyone interested in how the final project will look, here is our part 1: https://youtu.be/E4kx2duhyFI?si=2-Zre9PQ0wApXWVN
Sense the first one was extremely fun and we recived more community interaction than I first thought, I’ve decided to expand the project to skits as well.. so if that interests you, please do consider auditioning.
This part 2 of our peoject will be going throgh the letters F through I (Including Excalibur Umbra). All the voices have preplanned archetypes, but feel free to have creative liberties with this. I love seeing what people and their voices can do, but especially their imagination. If you believe you have a voice or archetype that fits the character better and wish to audition with that, please go ahead while also typing in your description what that other voice was and how you wanted to go about it.
Now onto the basics:
* Please record your lines in AABBCC format. It is just easier for me to understand and categorize everyone
* Type in a contact that I can contact you into your description, perferably discord as we have out own server
* Communication will be done in my server, feel free to network and just have fun with the project
* Mics are not necessarily an issue, I’m not too picky with them, mainly just your voice. I can help you edit your audio perosnally if need be. Everyone has the same opportunity despite quality.

Excalibur Umbra

(Rough, exhausted, agitated) Excalibur Umbra is probably the best candidate to have our project genuinely be planted into the game. Excalibur Umbra is our only true conscious frame that has suffered for hundreds of years. A voice for him would be gruff and truly exhausted from the suffering he has been through. A voice similar to Reaper from Overwatch sounds good to me.

(Playful, bouncy) During Follie’s quest, the player can hear the faint giggling and chuckling of Follie, this sets grounds for us to believe she’s a bit playful in nature. From being and knowing artists myself, I know that we can be a bit jittery at times with some great explosions of energy and no energy at all. I’d advise taking a gander at her Noble stance and find your voice from there. Maybe a vocie similar to Spinel from Steven Universe would fit her.

(Authoritative, intimidating) In various animations we’ve seen from DE, Frost seems to be the leader of the party he’s in, he also seems like he would fit the role of a leader through his stance’s and the way his abilities just seem truly powerful. He can protect, he can spread damage, he can freeze everyone on the battle field and extinguish them with a sway of his hand. A voice inspired by Optimus Prime or Reinhardt from Overwatch would do great here.

(Bloodthirsty, fear inducing) Garuda’s entire kit has to do with the blood of her enemies.. literally. Even her passive must be activated with blood and the suffering of her eneimes. A character like this needs a voice right out of a horror film. Resident Evil characters would be good inspiration.

(Cocky, bouncy) Gauss possibly would suffer the most from having his voice lines spammed.. I can only imagine Mach Rush. As the speedster he is and how he can hardly stop moving in his stances like he has ADHD (HattyVA), I feel like his voice should match his speed. Attempt going through your lines in a faster pace. I believe a voice similar to scout form TF2 would do nicely.

(Jolly, Big boy) Grendel is the warframe that entertains me the most. When he devours someone, he lets out a little chuckle.. He’s got to have a jolly mood. His voice, to me, would reflect that, having a hearty voice that would be welcoming to friends, but fearful to others. A voice inspired by Reinhardt or Roadhog from Overwatch would feel nice. Or even Santa from Guardians of the Globe.
