Ward University (Sims 4 Machinima VO Series) RECAST
Project Overview
WARNING: I might cast earlier than expected because I'm in a bit of a rush. Sorry!
Ward University is a teen drama type of series, but not really "teen" since the protagonists are attending university. It's set in a university of arts where students specialize in different branches such as acting, music, film, dance, fine arts, and creative writing. The series features sporadic scenes of violence and drug use. Also, in order to participate, you need to be comfortable with sensitive topics such as racism, religion and LGBTQ+ rights.
This is gonna be a long series, so please don't audition if you don't intend to commit to it. This is the reason why I decided to recast this specific role: production has been halted for more than three months because I couldn't get Fatima's va to send in her new lines, she's sadly too busy for the deadlines and ultimately, even though it was a really tough decision, I felt like waiting any longer wouldn't be fair to the fans of the show or the other voice actors who have worked really hard to deliver their lines in time. I still very much love the work she has done with the character so far, so I would suggest you watch at least a few episodes of the show so you can get a sense of Fatima and try to replicate her voice as much as you can, while still adding a little bit of yourself.

Fatima is a black muslim girl who wants to be an author. She also has a beauty channel on YouTube. She's very fierce, brave and idealistic, cares deeply about the people she loves and doesn't take anyone's shit. She also has a quiet, calm demeanor, like she has all the patience in the world. She has a soothing voice and rarely panics.
(Doing a vlog) So the school is not like I imagined it. I guess it’s more… chaotic than I thought it would be? And that’s an understatement.
(Frustrated and a little disgusted) I feel like boys around here only care about two things: flirting and... getting wasted.
(Doing a vlog, which actually serves as narration for the episode. A bit like JD in Scrubs, lol) Changes are always scary. Whether you're changing your habits... (short pause) ...your goals... (short pause) ...or even the way you think of somebody. Me, for example? What I'm most afraid of, right now, is losing track of my roots.
