Voice Design Reel

This project is so that I can build my voice design reel so this is a non-commercial personal work. I'll be applying effects and processing myself so if you're selected, I can send you the finished processed recording so you can use it for your own voice acting reel!

The scene/setting is:

Caitlyn is a toxic specialist who is showing around the newest employee. She is equipped with a full-face gas mask and hazardous gear. (please record as normal, this effect will be applied in post.) Caitlyn is older and very lighthearted / jolly. She finds great enjoyment in her work, and she's very good at what she does! She has a very full, boisterous laugh and it always happy to show around new employees to her work.

Commander is responsible for a very large space militia. He is contacting leaders to let them know that their maneuvers were successful, although there's a pinch of sadness in his voice knowing that the squadrons are being sent to their certain demise. This contact is coming over a radio call so he intends to deliver this update clear and concisely. He is very serious and professional and knows to not let emotions control him.

The Intel Operator is belatedly joining an important, secret call via hologram. She's very confident, intelligent, and capable, but she also has a silly, casual side to her. She would be likely to make fun of the people she's tricking with her false itinerary. She's usually pleased with herself when she accomplishes complex things so she has a lighthearted and fun personality.

The scene/setting is:

Rine #4 is a very emotionally-capable humanoid droid. He's having a conversation with one of his enemies and realizing that this may be one of his last conversations. Lots of secrets have come out, information has been spilled, and things will change forever. Rine #4 reveals to his enemy that their lover had a hand in his own creation. In an attempt to take the upper hand, Rine attempts to create a sense of jealousy and anger within his enemy. Rine #4 has a lot of love and respect for his creator, and even in his final days, he will defend her at all costs.

2.) This character is a male mechanical humanoid. The tech is advanced so he won't be completely monotone/generic, but feel free to perform multiple variations (such as; perfectly human, slightly robotic, exaggerated robotic, etc.)

The scene/setting is:

Rodger is a normal family man. During the scene, he is at the store buying things and generally running errands. He is speaking to his loved one, while also attempting to talk to the store clerk (the hyphenated lines). He is very polite and kind. The phone call is not on speaker, so he's got the phone propped on his shoulders during checkout. This is a casual scene.

2.) This character is a male adult human. Please try a few variations of this line: speaking fully into the mic as normal, moving your head away from the mic during the hyphenated lines, and/or reading the full lines away from the mic. You can also try adding performance which sounds like he's struggling to grab his things from the counter while juggling a phone call at the same time.

Deployment Officer works for a massive tech facility which creates, repairs, and launches Valkyrie Mecha Units. She is communicating to pilots all around the facilities of new maneuvers. This contact is coming over intercom so she intends to deliver this update clear and concisely to a massive audience. She is serious and professional; it's clear that she's very comfortable delivering this message and does it every day as a regular part of her job. Valkyrie Deployment is standard, so she's calm and relaxed when sharing the updates.

The scene/setting is:

She is a powerful arch sorceress who has had enough of the political drama. She's full of emotion and it is a climactic moment. During the lines, she will be screaming and declaring her stance to a large room full of other powerful magic-wielders. I want this performance to be emotional and strong, borderline losing control. Not spastic, or deranged, but still controlled. This character is typically very strong and collected, so even when she's lashing out, it should still come across as mature and powerful without weakness.
